UNDERGRADUAE RESEARCH CONFERENCES:

OUTLETS FOR PRESENTATIONS

There are also several options for presenting research at conferences.

1) Psi Chi members can submit research to the Midwestern Psychological Association, whose conference is held in early May each year in Chicago.  General information can be found at www.midwesternpsych.org/.  Information on submitting to the Psi Chi portion of the conference can be found at http://www.uwlax.edu/psychology/PSICHIMPA.htm.  Submission is usually due in the late Fall.

2) The Minnesota Undergraduate Psychology Conference is held late April at a college or university in Minnesota (usually in the Twin Cities area).  Submissions are due mid Spring.  There is no set website for the conference, each host sets up its own website and submission guidelines.  Google “Minnesota Undergraduate Psychology Conference” to find current location and information for upcoming conferences.  Winona State students from Winona and Rochester are frequent presenters at this conference.

3) Seven Rivers Undergraduate Research Symposium is held every Fall at Vitterbo University in La Crosse WI.  This conference is not limited to psychology research.  Winona State students are frequent presenters at this conference.  Information can http://www.viterbo.edu/academic/ug/sls/7rivers.html.

OTHER CONFERENCES:

Psi Chi maintains a list of undergraduate research conferences and affiliated conferences at professional conferences like MPA or APS.  The list can be found at http://www.psichi.org/conventions/
