Other Publication or Presentation Options
Submission Guidelines:
Deadlines: Students may submit papers at any time. Papers will be added to the on-line journal as soon as they can be reviewed and formatted, typically within a few weeks.
Guidelines:
1) All papers should be in APA format*
2) All papers need a faculty sponsor (A WSU Psychology Department faculty member who has worked with you on the paper and who supports it's submission to the journal).
3) Papers and cover letter should be submitted via email to Dr. Carrie Fried at cfried@wionona.edu. Papers should be formatted in MS Word and sent as an attachment
4) Students should also include a brief cover letter with the following information
A: The title of the paper
B: The type of paper (empirical or theoretical)
C: A brief description of the paper and topic
D: The origin of the research (e.g., was this based on course work or independent study. If the research was part of a course, which course and what semester.)
C: The name of the faculty sponsor.
5) In the case of group papers:
A: If the research was done in collaboration with other students or a faculty member, all collaborators should be included as co-authors. The first author should get permission from all other authors.
B: It is up to all authors to decide on the order of authorship.
C: If all authors have contributed equally, the order of authorship should be determined randomly or alphabetically. This should be noted in the Authors’ Notes section of the paper.
