I am an assistant professor of English and the Director of Graduate Studies in English at Winona State University where I teach writing, medieval literature, and Renaissance literature. This upcoming academic year (2011-12) I will be teaching freshman writing, advanced expository writing, Brit Lit to 1660, Chaucer, a graduate seminar on Textual Studies, and a graduate research methods course.

My book Playing the Canterbury Tales is due out with Ashgate Publishing in January 2012. In the book, I examine the fifteenth- and sixteenth-century continuations and additions to the Tales in light of the recent developments in new, socially produced forms of cultural expression.
