My undergraduate degree is a B.S. in Mathematics with secondary education certification from Moravian College. After graduating in 1989, I worked as an assistant geometer/educator for the Visual Geometry Project. This was a three-pronged project designed to put solid geometry back into the high school curriculum. It consisted of a series of workbooks, videos, and a computer program called the Geometer's Sketchpad, written by Nick Jackiw. This program has without a doubt become the most famous product of the project. I worked mostly on the Platonic Solids Workbook.
From there, I proceeded to graduate school at the University of Delaware. I was there from 1989 to 1996, except for a one-year leave of absence that I took to teach high school in Bethlehem, PA. I am now an associate professor of mathematics at Winona State University.
