The Ecuador Travel Study program will focus on life, history, and geology of the high sierra of the Ecuadorian Andes.  We will be at elevations between 9,000 - 13,000 feet throughout the program. 

We will be traveling to these cities:

Quito
Latacunga
Banos (near Ambato)
Riobamba/Cajabamba
Cuenca & Ingapirca
Otavalo (near Ibarra)

And we hope to see these volcanoes (weather dependent):

Cotopaxi (the highest active volcano on Earth)
Chimborazo (the highest point in Ecuador, and the highest extinct volcano)
Tungarurua - currently active!!! (not shown on map below, but located near Banos)
Sanguay
Cayambe
