I, Fariborz Parsi, was born in 1961 in Tehran, Iran.
I attended
Alborz High School in Tehran, and in
1979 moved to the United States to pursue my education. I completed my undergraduate and
graduate education in Chemical Engineering at the
University of South Carolina (Columbia, SC) . I have been a Professor of Engineering at
Winona State University (Winona, MN) since
1991. Kate and I have a daughter, Zoya, and a son, Armon.
