I have decided to start posting
announcements on Piazza rather than here. There are two
advantages to this: (1) you will receive an email
whenever I post a new announcement and (2) people will
be able to follow up each announcement with questions,
if desired. Please activate your Piazza account (if you
have not done so already) so that you can see these
announcements.
Everybody should have received an email asking you to activate an account I set up for you on Piazza. Piazza is a new on-line class discussion platform, which is highly catered to getting you help fast and efficiently from classmates, the S2I leader, and myself. Rather than emailing questions to me, I encourage you to post your questions on Piazza. (I will receive email notification nearly immediately whenever a question is posted.) By using Piazza instead of email, the whole class can benefit from my answers. Or another student in the class may be able to answer your question for the whole class. ILL Sessions are now scheduled for Mon 4-5 PM (Pasteur 329) and Thur 12:30-1:30 PM (Pasteur 105). There is a relatively new ipad app that can be useful for studying organic chemistry.
