Course Requirements

The overall course grade will be determined based on a total of 100 points as follows:

The 100 points will be distributed as follows:

Mfg Plans (5 points)
Tools/Fixtures (10 points)
Qualification Test Plan (5 points)
Qualification Test Unit and Test Fixtures (20 points)
Qualification Test Report (5 points)
Project Poster (5 points)
Design Project Website (5 points)
First Article Unit (25 points)
YouTube video showing fab, testing, and in use (5 points)
First Article Unit presentations (5 points)
Team Member Grade (10 points)

During the semester grades will be posted in the applicable course folder found on the D2L.

Attendance: Students are expected to be on time for each class and actively engaged throughout the class. Students wishing to be excused from class for legitimate reasons are required to inform Dr. Dennehy in advance why/when they will be absent. Each unexcused absence will result in 1 point being deducted from a student's overall course grade. In addition, a student will not receive points for an assignment if the majority of classes spent working on that assignment are missed due to unexcused absences.
