Description

CME 475/480 - Design Project I/II - 3 S.H. (each)

Develop product from requirements definition through prototype fabrication. Including: definition of product requirements, development of product and tooling design, analysis, definition of fabrication process, development of quality assurance plan, fabrication of prototype, inspection and testing.  Work is performed in student teams. Design Project I is one of two Composite Materials Engineering courses that collectively satisfy the 3 credits of the Oral Intensive Required Courses in the General Education Program. Prerequisite: ENGR 390. Grade only.
